Room 4 had the best day today on their trip to Armagh Planetarium. The boys and girls have been learning about Space so today it was great to see them recalling and applying all they had learned about the solar system with the different planets and stars, the phases of the moon and Apollo missions etc. The first activity was to work together to build rockets which were then taken outside and blasted off using a water pressure system. Next was a 3D light show and tour of the solar system in the dome followed by time to explore the exhibits and sensory areas. Lots of learning and fun together
