World Children’s Day
For World Children’s Day we were discussing CLIMATE CHANGE!
We focussed on the following article:
Article 24
Every child has the right to the best possible health. Governments must work to provide good quality health care, clean water, nutritious food and a clean environment so that children can stay healthy. Richer countries must help poorer countries achieve this.
We focussed on ‘clean environment’ in particular and discussed how we could help the fight against climate change! We started by learning what climate change meant. We found out that the Earth is getting warmer which is resulting in ice caps melting, sea levels rising etc. We will continue our discussions during our PDMU sessions this week ✨
