Room 1 had a great morning outside exploring activities linked to a day at the beach. The trikes were as popular as ever ensuring transport and road safety aspects were covered.Some children decided to use chalks to create a beautiful map showing the train’s journey to the beach which they shared with the class.At construction lots of problem solving and cooperation was need to create somewhere to stay,their building even included a corridor entrance. Ball skills were developed using football and our version of tennis. The water wall was a popular new addition which required lots of thinking not to get wet!! Tasty treats were created at the mud kitchen which was our new cafe with chocolate cake being the speciality of the day.
