Room 1 got their wet weather gear on for a morning of play. This was the first time we needed to wear our overalls and although we had a dry start the rain came on before we were finished. This did not dampen our spirits😊.In keeping with Bike to School Week we practiced our cycling skill. In the mud kitchen natural resources were used to make a variety of tasty meals. Chicken curry and lasagne are firm favourites but we also had a few berry and seed cakes. Digging is always popular and the children were excited to find a variety of sizes of worms. In construction we had great teamwork joining materials creating shelters the children certainly had a clear idea about what they wanted to create.
