Wellbeing Day in Room 4

2nd Mar 2025

Room 4 enjoyed another wellbeing day with lots of fun and practical learning.

The day started by making some rather impressive looking frog bookmarks. Everyone had to be patient and follow the instructions as there were many steps in the process but the end product was well worth it as they turned out lovely.

We then took part in a Minecraft challenge to design and build a rainforest with the different layers of vegetation, animals within those etc. We didn’t get these finished so we will have to revisit and complete at a later date.

After break it was off to the pool for swimming.

Before lunch we played the grateful game with a partner. This helped us to think about the different things in our lives that we are grateful for whether that be people, sounds, memories etc.

In the afternoon we made a water cycle in a bag and attached it to the classroom window so that we could track the movement of the water when it was heated by the sun. Everyone made their own mini one to take home to try out there.

To end the day we headed outside for some games and teamwork challenges. A great day spent with friends developing our thinking and problem solving skills.
