Room 1 began exploring area this week. We couldn’t make footprints in the snow so inside made rubbings of the soles of our shoes. We then compared these to discuss which footprint covered the largest area. Today children used cubes to measure the area of their footprint and then compared our findings to check results. Our P1’s used their creativity to colour and cut out different sizes of hearts they then compared area by setting one heart on top of the other. It was interesting to note how individual their work was.🥰
