Room 1 were supposed to carry out this activity outside unfortunately with so many wet and stormy days we had to make our clocks inside. The children worked with a partner to create their own clock. Lots of problem solving had to take place to ensure the numerals were placed in the correct position. The children then had to decide what materials to use for the hands of the clock ensuring there was a difference in length for the minute and hour hands. The children were able to use their clocks to make o’clock and half past times. They shared their learning with their P7 buddies.
