Well done to everyone in Key Stage Two who took part in our sports day today. We had an action-packed day with lots of enthusiasm and fun in our competitive running, potato and spoon and sack races. The sun was shining and we had great support from family and friends along the sidelines so what more could we ask for!
Our races were followed by some competitive challenges in our house teams with our relay race and tug-of-war. A huge well done to all of the houses who showed great determination and team spirit today; they were working together and cheering each other on.
Special congratulations to the green house who earned themselves 400 points by coming first in both the relay race and tug of war. These points will give a good boost in the final run up to our end of term treat for the winning house for Term 3. The highlight of the day would have to be when our parents were great sports and had their own tug-of-war. Thank you to everyone who came along to cheer the children on today.
