What a wonderful morning Room 5 and Room 1 pupils had taking part in the RSPB Northern Ireland Big Bird Watch. We joined up with our buddies and loved getting outside to spot the birds. We’ve been feeding the birds this winter and have been learning about the the different species of garden birds who visit our gardens. Today we spotted robins, blue tits, blackbirds, sparrows, song thrushes …we’ve been learning about which birds are in decline and the reasons for this over the past number of years. Great work everyone. A lovely bright morning and hopefully we can keep looking over the weekend and then send off our data. 😊😊
