Room 4 have been busy learning about money and today we were setting out different amounts.
We also started planning out mini- enterprise.....’School Scoops’ (our ice-cream shop!) where the children worked in groups to come up with a team name as they started to plan their business.
Our version of ‘The Apprentice’ will give the children the opportunity to research most popular flavours of ice-cream/ toppings in our school so they’ll have to create their own survey to carry out. Then they’ll have to use the results to select most popular products and then price these products in various places for best value before agreeing on a suitable price for selling each ice-cream. Then they will work on advertising before carrying out the sale. We’ll keep you posted each step of the way!
