Everyone in Room 4 enjoyed a carousel of activities to celebrate Eco Day We learned about the different bins and how to sort our waste properly to minimise what is going in the black bin. We spent some time bird watching and familiarising ourselves with some of the birds commonly found around our school and our third activity involved making little pots from old newspaper. We planted peas in these and are looking forward to seeing them grow. Thank you to Mid Ulster Council for helping us with these activities. Everyone really enjoyed their morning and we were definitely left with lots to think about as we try to be an eco school and to do our best to take care of our planet 🌎🌱
