As part of our learning about WW2 the boys and girls in Room 4 tried out some ration cake recipes. They made an eggless sponge with spices and sultanas and an eggless chocolate cake. Despite some strange ingredients like a cup of tea being added in we were pleasantly surprised by the results and most said they would be happy to have this as a treat. This was lots of fun working together, following the recipes and trying things we hadn't tasted before all while extending our learning. Great job everyone 👍
