Primary One were revisiting 2D shape today. We began our lesson inside first working together to examine the properties of the shapes and agreeing the language to use to describe each. We then took our learning outside to explore making these shapes with ropes. This prompted much discussion about length and shape and how the ropes met at the corners. A fun activity which had very active learners demonstrating the ability to work together and use of problem solving techniques.
