Primary 1 had a great outdoor session before the rain started today! The children got warmed up playing a literacy game using sound bibs. They took it in turns to wear the bibs with each of our sounds getting into order when their sound was called. We then blended the sounds to read the words.
Following this the children got into three teams to complete other sound activities. One group sorted letters for sounds, another practised throwing a bean bag onto a sound while the third used coloured stones to make letters.
