P1 we’re counting snowflakes today. individually they were challenge to count and record the number of snowflakes or to find the snowflakes to make 9 on their recording sheet. If they found a card with 7 snowflakes they then counted on to find how many more they needed to make 9. Working out that this was 2 they recorded 7 beside the 2 snowflakes on their recording sheet. This required lots of thinking.
