Room 1 had a fabulous trip out to Springhill House today participating in their “Changing Times” programme. We visited the house and experienced how people lived long ago. Miss Paula was a great tour guide who shared lots of interesting information with us about life in the house and made links to the fairytales we have been exploring. We had fun in the barn with Miss Karen who got us to dress up as children did long ago and she let us play with old fashioned toys. After lunch we visited the kitchen and the school room ; none of us wanted to stay there to learn! Life long ago certainly involved lots of hard work.
