Room 1 have been busy following our trip to the farm. In our own farmyard we have been helping the farmer with jobs and writing lists of things which need to be done. We have created our own pictures using fuzzy felt and explored farm animal puzzles. Children have used Lego to create their own farmyard and set up an imaginary farm.We used iPads to create images of our favourite farm animals and programmed Earl2 to move through a farm mat to visit places in the farm yard. In the water tray we enjoyed playing with ducks and frogs linked to the rhymes “Five Little Speckled Frogs” and “Five Little ducks” which develop the language of take away.
