Room 1 celebrated Odd Sock Day with Andy and the Odd Socks singing and dancing to their new song about respect. Through video clips and a PowerPoint we celebrated that we are all different and that we all have a right to be treated with respect. We extended our thinking about how we respond to others using an action game before colouring our own odd socks. We later used the odd sock theme to help explore number in numeracy creating our own washing lines or partitioning numbers within 20.
