Room 1 loved the opportunity to dress up in their number inspired clothes. We had some very creative outfits today. Through our discussions the children recognised the importance of number in our every day lives everything from knowing our house number to keeping safe on the roads. Probably what surprised them most was the fact that the school bell would not ring without numbers!! At number time we used our number skills in coding to programme Earl 2 to find 2d shapes. We played number games and used numicon to explore number. Children also had the opportunity to engage with iPads in number related tasks.
