It was lovely to welcome Mrs Chambers from Magherafelt High School to our school today to visit R5.
Mrs Chambers is a science teacher and she came to chat to our children as well as conduct a science activity with them. Today they were learning about magnets. They got to use magnets and find out what materials were magnetic. We learnt what attract and repel means and what magnetic poles were. Then we got to experiment with floating magnets!
