The boys and girls enjoyed their session today with Roy from Sentinus as he delivered another digital workshop in partnership with Mid-Ulster Council.
We’ve been using micro-bits and getting to grips with coding them and so today Roy developed our skills further through introducing the McQueen Robot Car. We learnt how to make it move when activated with a clap, how to get it to light etc. Roy shared with us our project which we have to complete by the end of March and left some McQueen Robots with us. We have to video our projects and submit for a competition and already we’ve great ideas about how to make our robots winners!!! There’s one sure thing…Room 5 children are competitive and will love this challenge and also being creative with the robots to make our entry unique!
