In our play this week we have been thinking about what sports we can do in winter and how animals respond to winter weather. We explored the story the Gruffalo’s Child which has helped us think about the tracks we might see in the snow and prompted us to investigate how mouse grew so big. We programmed Earl 2 to find rhyming words from the story using forward and left and right turns. Our new fine motor skills activity proved popular this was based on a game of ice hockey.
