In Room 4 we have been working hard at improving our teamwork and problem solving skills and on Friday the boys and girls had an opportunity to do this using iZak9. This is a wonderful resource for encouraging children to think differently about numeracy concepts. For most this was their first chance to use this and everyone did really well as they discussed different mathematical language and approaches to problems.
