We had a great day at the School at the Sea. Children participated in lots of fun filled activities which helped them to explore harvest and autumn time. We completed science investigations which let us explore how leaves change colour. Children looked for seeds in fruit and vegetables and planted these before harvesting some crops. We listened to a great story about how animals prepare for winter and then made some hedgehog boxes and bird feeders. It was a fantastic day and the children worked really well together.
