Room 1 enjoyed a fabulous trip to the Greenmount Nature Trail at CAFRE. Our session was led by Michael from the RSPB. We were challenged today to become scientists and to use our observation skills to explore seasonal changes. Through puppets and stories we learnt about migration,hibernation and nocturnal animals. The children looked for signs of these around the trail. This was a great experience for everyone especially as we got to see some real hedgehogs and hawks in the classroom.
