As it is Anti Bullying week, our nurture group took part in activities linked with friendship and kindness ✨
They experimented what kind words and hurtful words could do to the inside of an apple...the one we were unkind too was bruised when it was chopped. The apple represented that children can feel bruised if someone is unkind. It teaches us that we should always be kind to others!
Other activities included smoothing out a wrinkled heart which represented how hard it can be to take back hurtful words and actions.
The toothpaste experiment also represented the same. Today focussed on the importance of thinking about our words and actions 🤩
