The boys and girls at Shannaghmore had a brilliant last day of the residential trip. The morning was spent completing a hill walk. What beautiful scenery in this part of the country and what a wonderful sense of achievement to reach the top and feel like you are on top of the world. After a delicious lunch of sausages, beans and chips everyone headed to Tollymore Forest where they learned how to read and follow a compass before completing a team challenge which was brilliant fun. Back at the centre we were treated to a roast beef dinner followed by pavlova and fruit which was a lovely send off at the end of a fantastic trip. Lots of tried boys and girls (and staff) arrived back at CPS just in time for bed.
Such a brilliant few days with lots of speciql memories made ❤️
