We couldn't have asked for better weather for our feet first Families event on Friday 20th April.
P6/7 were busy all day learning about healthy choices and lifestyles and engaging in physical activities. We had a visit from Ann- Marie, the community champion from Tesco in magherafelt who told us about the sugar content in everyday foods and drinks. She explained the eatwell plate and introduced Tesco's new Not for children campaign where Tesco are taking a stand on energy drinks by only seeking to over 16s with ID. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and then visited Moyola FC where we played rounders and football. A brilliant day had by all. It's a pity every Friday couldn't be like this!
