Today our boys and girls in Room 3 began to explore fractions. We identified halves and quarters and found a fraction of a given amount. The children used chalk to create models of halves, quarters and thirds and practiced writing their fractions when labelling their models. We used a variety of loose parts to find a fraction of an amount. Such fun outdoors! We love taking our learning out of the classroom 😊
