As part of our Wellbeing Day children celebrated European Day of Languages finding out some fun facts about France. In their play they built models of the Eiffel Tower, created french food using dough, enjoyed a day at the beach using the sand tray, used a painting app on the IPad to create a picture for the famous Louvre Art Gallery and designed their own castles at the writing table.
We sang French rhymes and learnt the names of colours in French. Children then coloured their own French flags using bleu, blanc and rouge.Our afternoon finished with a choice of french apples or brioche watching the Disney film “Ratatouille.”
