Room 5 children were busy today creating Egyptian Shadufs using Knex. We have been learning about farming and the River Nile in Ancient Egyptian times and learned that a shaduf was a device used for drawing water from the Nile.
The children worked in groups today to design their own ensuring it had all the components required and it could move. A really great job!
Since it’s Friday and we’ve worked hard all week, we enjoyed a wee hot chocolate treat while we built!
