Everyone in Room 4 enjoyed learning about our earth and the impact we have on it through our use of plastic during Earth Day on Monday 22nd April. We each planted sunflower seeds which we will look after and hopefully have some success with growing and then enjoyed a challenge to make a sculpture or model from junk materials from our blue recycling bins. We were definitely surprised by some of the facts we learned about plastic pollution and we pledge to try hard to reduce our plastic waste.
