Room 1 welcomed the Nerve Centre staff into school to work on our coding skills. After completing some unplugged activities giving directions we got to be creative. Children explored the Codeable Crafts app to create their own version of Daisy the cow from our story “Jack in the Beanstalk.” We shared our colourful characters and then selected a setting before creating a code to make Daisy move across the screen and speak. At the end of the lesson we had fun creating other characters of our choice. Thank you to the Nerve Centre for facilitating this training session for pupils and staff.🙂
