Children’s Mental Health Week
This week we have been exploring our feelings and recognising that our feelings change throughout the day. We all want to feel happy in school but sometimes we might feel tired, worried or anxious. These are all normal feelings but they can impact how we cope with our day and our relationships with others. The children had great ideas about what they can do to make themselves feel better. Ideas ranged from playing on the trampoline to being with pets or getting a hug or going outdoors. We all need someone to talk to when we feel sad and the children completed an activity drawing who they would share their feelings with. Brothers,sisters, aunts, teacher, mums and dads all featured in their drawing.
