Room 5 boys and girls have been writing biographies about Thomas Edison. We’ve been learning about the features of a biography and what should be included. After our research, we wrote about the life of the famous inventor and then uplevelled our writing by looking at different ways we could improve our sentence openers. Finally we presented using ICT. P7 used the Keynote app while P6 had the keyboards out and typed their biographies. Really impressive work from R5 children from their research, to their writing and their final piece of work.
