All the boys and girls in Room 4 took part in the Big Schools Winter Birdwatch in association with RSPB.
We have been learning about garden birds as part of our topic work during home learning.
We learned how to identify them, we made bird feeders to attract them to our gardens and then we took part in the bird watch so we could count how many different birds we saw.
Our results will be sent to the RSPB so they can check the population of the different birds this year. We’ve learned the many challenges birds can face so it is important to know if any face decline.
