Room 4 investigated possible food eaten by astronauts. We looked at various types of dried food and how these might be examples of what they might eat in space as dried food is lighter.
We wanted to find out what difference was between dried and cooked versions. How much lighter was it?
We were surprised by the results and we plan to show our results in a graph. With every cooked version the food was nearly 200g heavier than the dried version.
Dried food would definitely make a difference to the weight reduction on a space craft.
