Area 🟩

In R2 we were learning about area in numeracy. We did a lot of different activities to explore and calculate different surface areas. This included Lego boards where we predicted and calculated the number of bricks and studs that cover a specific area and were able to compare these with our friends. We  used the same number a cubes and bricks to explore how the same surface area can create different shapes both inside and outside the classroom! And finally we were able to show our creativity by using squared paper to draw our own people, creatures and animals and work out the surface area they cover! Great work everyone! 🎨🧱
