Room 5 are enjoying their new topic ‘Inventors’ and this week we’ve been focusing on Alexander Graham Bell. As he invented the telephone we’ve been learning about sound and carrying out different investigations to discover how found travels through vibrations. Some investigations worked better than others but we learnt too how inventors had to keep trying and improving their creations to get it right.
We also enjoyed looking at old mobile phones and trying to text with them! Not like phones today! We also enjoyed looking at the phone book where we used to access phone numbers. Telephones have evolved so much and so it’s been fun learning about the changes down through the years 😊📞☎️📱
