Today, Room 2 children made their own fire extinguishers and made some mixtures to see which one would be most like a fire extinguisher. We tried mixing water and salt and then vinegar and baking soda. We saw that a gas came from the vinegar and baking soda mixture when it started to bubble so our next will be to test if it puts out a flame from a candle.
