Primary 1 had a mystery to solve today. Superheroes had visited our playground leaving their footprints as a clue. Armed with clipboards and a recording sheet the children enthusiastically matched and compared the size of the footprint clue with one showing the character. In pairs they worked through each character to solve the problem. This was a fun activity which promoted mathematically thinking recording numerals and comparing areas.
