Primary 1 explored 2d shapes using a variety of materials. Children used their thinking skills to create shapes and explored the properties of these. We then began to think about how some of these shapes can fit together to create patterns.
Primary 2 used 2d shapes to construct 3d shapes which they then used to create models. The children were able name and discuss properties of the shapes made this required lots of problem solving.
